Personal term deposit is a fixed-term form of savings deposit. It can’t be transferred, remitted inward or outward.

2. BOCVTE offers term deposit of 3 month, 6 month, 12 month, 18 month, 24 month and 36 month of maturities.
3. Customers can also choose automatic renewal upon maturity date or withdraw the deposit in full amount.
4. The interest rate of the term deposit is higher than that of the current deposit.
5. Free of account management fee.
6. The interest rate is based on the latest personal term deposit interest rate announced by the Bank.

The service is suitable for customer with valid identify documents and idle money that will not be used in the near future.

Customer brings the valid ID/Passport to counter to open an account.

For Laos citizens: valid Laos ID card/passport; for non-Laos citizens original copy of passport, valid work permit or stay permit card.

Term deposit can be withdrawn before maturity date, however, the bank will pay advanced withdraw parts interest with current deposit interest.
